During the summer we made the last big research trip for William Bradford research, and this is the first of a few series of photo posts to come out of that. These are from a couple of tangentially related sites in Connecticut.

Recreation of a native Witu at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum. A lot of money had been spent on the museum, but I can’t really recommend it, considering they depicted native nudity quite accurately….
A shell pile in the recreated Pequot Village
A European Trader
Recreated kit of a European soldier
Of all the sites we visited, this visit was the least successful. This is near the site of Matianuck Trading Post in Windsor, CT, but maybe I’ll have to go back again to get closer!
