We are interested in authors with high quality original writing they are looking to share with our audience. Emails asking for backlinks to your own site or propositions for the use of your content creation services will be deleted without response.

By submitting content for publication on Discerning History, you grant us the right to publish it with editorial changes as may be required.
Writing Guidelines
- We only publish writings that are the original work of the author. You may submit work that has already been published elsewhere, but do let us known when submitting your paper.
- We require that research papers be documented with footnotes. Please use Chicago Style.
- Please include a short author biography to be included with the article. You may include a link to your website in your bio.
Book Reviews
If you are an author or publisher with a non-fiction historical book that you us to review, please contact us. Be aware that reviews may be critical. We do only honest, scholarly reviews, not paid endorsements.
