An Update on My William Bradford Biography

Since I announced several years ago that I was writing a new biography of William Bradford, I’ve had quite a few people asked how it was progressing. I figured there may be some people out there who would appreciate an update on the project. It is progressing well. I have finished initial research, a lot of the travel, and have written a draft of about 40% of the book. Progress has been steady though slower than I would like.

I have posted numerous photo essay style posts of the research trips that I’ve made so far. The international travel to England and the Netherlands is complete. This year I will be back in New England to hit some crucial final sites, and that should just about wrap up all the travel for the book.

I don’t have a release date yet. It certainly will not be this year, and I think even next year would be too optimistic a goal. When I am close to completion, you will, of course, see an announcement here, and there should be a good amount of associated content going out on our Youtube channel and social media. To make sure you don’t miss anything you can subscribe to our email list on the sidebar of this blog.

I appreciate all the encouragement that I’ve received, and I look forward to getting this book in the hands of readers before too long!
