Appomattox 150th

Today is the 150 anniversary of the surrender of Robert E. Lee to Ulysses S. Grant at Appomattox Court House, Virginia. This was the beginning of the end of the Civil War. Check out our posts on the Appomattox Campaign and the surrender negotiations, and stay tuned for a video from Appomattox.
