The Beautiful Amer Fort

Amer Fort, in Rajasthan India, was built around 1600 by the king in the area. It was built to be a grander palace than the much older Jaigarh Fort on the neighboring mountain, and visible in the distance in this picture. If you visit Amer Fort today, you can take an elephant ride up the mountain to the entry gate
