Through the next week, the Discerning History team will be touring historic South Carolina. We will travel throughout the state, and into northern Georgia, visiting battlefields, historic churches, forts, and period homes. Visit with us the sites of some dramatic battles of the Revolutionary War, such as King’s Mountain and Cowpens. We will visit Fort Pulaski, complete with moat and ramparts, and tour the city of Savannah. We’ll explore the beautiful city of Charleston and it’s history, from Fort Sumter to the H. L. Hunley, the first militarily successful submarine.
You can join us virtually on this trip on Instagram @DiscerningHistory, or here on the Discerning History blog.
